Upon your arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to Negombo, a vibrant coastal town just a short drive from the airport. After checking into your hotel, you can unwind and recover from your journey while enjoying the tropical surroundings. In the evening, take a peaceful stroll along the beach or lagoon, where you can observe local fishing life and enjoy a stunning sunset. This first day is intentionally relaxed to help you ease into the island’s rhythm.-
Relaxed arrival & coastal atmosphere
Highlights:
After breakfast, begin your journey inland toward Sigiriya, passing through scenic countryside filled with coconut plantations and rural villages. Along the way, you will visit the impressive Dambulla Cave Temple, where centuries-old murals and Buddha statues create a deeply spiritual atmosphere. After exploring the temple, continue to Sigiriya and check into your hotel. Spend the evening relaxing in a peaceful natural setting.-

Start your day early with a climb up the world-famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress. As you ascend, you’ll pass ancient water gardens, frescoes, and the mirror wall before reaching the summit, where breathtaking panoramic views await.
