Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to Negombo, a charming seaside town located just a short drive from the airport. After checking into your hotel, you can unwind and recover from your journey while enjoying the tropical surroundings. In the evening, take a leisurely walk along the sandy beaches or the lagoon, where you can witness local fishing life and a beautiful sunset over the Indian Ocean. This relaxed first day sets the tone for your journey, allowing you to ease into the island’s peaceful atmosphere.-
Relaxed arrival, coastal scenery & gentle start

After breakfast, begin your journey inland toward Sigiriya, passing through scenic countryside filled with coconut plantations, rural villages, and lush greenery. Along the way, you will stop at the impressive Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring a series of ancient cave shrines adorned with intricate murals and over a hundred Buddha statues. After exploring this sacred site, continue your drive to Sigiriya and check into your hotel surrounded by nature. The rest of the evening is yours to relax, perhaps enjoying the tranquil environment or preparing for the adventure ahead.-
