Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be warmly welcomed and begin your journey north toward Anuradhapura, one of the island’s most sacred and historically significant cities. The drive takes you through scenic countryside landscapes filled with coconut plantations, paddy fields, and glimpses of traditional village life. After checking into your hotel, you will head out to explore key sites of the ancient city, including massive stupas, monastery complexes, and the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi tree, believed to be the oldest historically documented tree in the world. As evening approaches, the peaceful and spiritual atmosphere of Anuradhapura creates a serene introduction to your journey, allowing you to connect with Sri Lanka’s deep cultural roots.-
